VASE v02

Each LEVEL vase explores the tension of digital precision and hand intuition. The forms, reminiscent of imaginary bottles, are created through clay 3D printing. During the process, the pieces must be carefully supported by hand, a task that requires experience and sensitivity. The finished vases leave their materiality open, inviting the viewer to look twice.

Materials and Process

The vases are produced in Zurich using a clay 3D printer and high-fired stoneware clay. After printing, each piece is refined and finished by hand. The interior is glazed for functionality, while the exterior is spray-coated with aluminum, giving the surface a soft metallic sheen that highlights the printed texture.

Care Instructions

Each vase is watertight and suitable for fresh flowers. Clean gently with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive materials. The aluminum-coated surface should not come into prolonged contact with water.
